I'm Aram, founder of LexClean. I came to entrepreneurship the long way around: I spent years training as a classical musician, all the way through two years of college, before life pointed me in a different direction. (It turns out the discipline of practicing the same passage 200 times until it's right translates surprisingly well to building a business.)
After a career in household management, I made the leap to business ownership in 2020 and have been thoroughly unemployable ever since. I genuinely believe there's never been a better moment to build something of your own — the doors are open to just about anyone willing to bring creativity and a lot of hard work. I'd know: I started with very little time and even less money, and that constraint turned out to be the best teacher I ever had.
When I'm not working, I'm outnumbered at home by our five kids and kept well-fed by my wife Beverly, who runs her own gluten-free bakery while somehow keeping our household running. Between the two of us, we're hoping to raise the next generation of leaders — or at least a few people who know how to run a tight ship.
Ask me anything
Q: What's a hidden talent that has nothing to do with cleaning?
A: Classic menswear. If you're into men's clothing styles from the 1930s–1940s, I'm your guy.
Q: What's your go-to road-trip snack?
A: Beef jerky, potato chips, root beer.
Q: Morning person or late-afternoon closer?
A: I prefer getting things done in the morning, but if we're celebrating with a glass of bourbon, that's usually frowned upon before 4 PM.
